The RI Data Hub is a central resource for anyone interested in using data to understand the well-being of people in Rhode Island. The Data Hub brings together data sets from multiple federal, state and local sources and lets users select data and visualize it in charts, graphs, maps, and collaborative reports and data stories.

The RI Data Hub has been Rhode Island’s source for sharing and analyzing data for over 6 years. It has been developed in collaboration with a range of state agencies to collect and analyze a huge range of data. By engaging in data sharing agreements, the RI Data Hub has broken down barriers between agencies to access the big data picture for our state.

The RI Data Hub has evolved over the years to include the creation of data stories, which are interactive slideshows that guide you through data related to a policy question. With the data stories and data reports, which focus on one specific topic, the RI Data Hub stands out for it’s expertise and creativity in mining the data for new insights into policy or programmatic questions about the well-being of Rhode Islanders.

Check back with us as we post new Data Stories and look at policy questions across Rhode Island.
