About the Project

The Rhode Island Data Sharing Project is a comprehensive initiative to create a seamless and secure infrastructure and related set of policies that will increase data-driven decision making and improve outcomes in our state. With federal funding from the U.S. Department of Education for a Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) project, and the inclusion and coordination of other funded projects, this ambitious work is in progress.

Advisory Council

The Advisory Council is made up of Community leaders who represent and advocate for The Rhode Island Data Sharing Project. The Advisory Council will lead the Project to investigate topics that are meaningful to our state and promote the findings to affect better policy making to improve outcomes for all Rhode Islanders.
